Fee reference
Reference tables for buyer premiums, online bidding fees, yard release charges, and late-payment penalties — so you can estimate all-in cost before you place a bid.
US wholesale and salvage auctions charge buyer premiums on vehicles and qualifying lots sold at auction. Premiums are tiered by winning bid amount. Marketplace lots usually clear well above $500, so this schedule floors buyer fees at $250 — sale prices under $500 share that floor instead of the old low-dollar bands. Standard automobiles and heavy vehicles (trucks, trailers, equipment) follow separate columns below. Individual retail buyers and licensed business buyers may be assessed different rates depending on account type on file with the source auction.

Most US auction purchases include a yard release fee — commonly about $95 per unit. This covers administrative processing and moving the lot from the auction storage lane to the buyer pickup area. Exact amounts are set by the source auction and appear on your broker invoice.
Vehicle purchase price and applicable auction fees are typically due within three business days of the sale (including the sale day). Late payment may incur a penalty — commonly $50 per vehicle — plus additional storage charges.
Daily storage rates vary by auction location. If a lot is not paid in full within the auction’s grace period (often about eight calendar days from the sale date), the vehicle may be relisted. Relist fees are commonly 10% of the sale price with a minimum around $600.
When title documents or bills of sale are mailed to you, a mailing fee — often about $50 per lot — may apply in addition to buyer premiums.
Some states add licensing, environmental, or documentation surcharges on certain purchases. Any state-specific fees will be itemized on your invoice before you pay.
Schedules above are industry reference tiers. Source auctions set final buyer premiums, virtual bid fees, and yard charges — amounts may differ by partner and location. Your broker invoice lists every line item, including our service fee, before payment is due.
